Happy New Year! We couldn’t ring in 2026 without sending you our very best wishes for the year ahead.
Here in Nicaragua, there’s a strong tradition of easing into the year—though coffee has its own rhythm, and harvest season is already well underway.
We are reflecting as we ease in. This past year, in particular, brought the joy of reconnecting with many of you, at events in Missouri, Minnesota, New Hampshire, and New York. That was so nice. Sharing stories over cups of coffee—those conversations stay with us and remind us why we do this work.
At origin, we’re grateful for the steady progress behind the scenes.
We’ve watched our team grow in confidence and capability, navigating different cultures and expectations with determination and care.
Maria José continues to step into her administrative role with increasing independence, and we’ve celebrated milestones like Ana's son, Chris's high school graduation and welcoming a new little one into our extended work family.
We’re also thankful for the ongoing balance of raising Lucille alongside our work at Twin Engine Coffee—imperfect & meaningful. 🙂
It is so clear that Twin Engine Coffee and Origin Creations exist because of the people: farmers, artisans, team members, and customers like you who choose care, quality, and connection.
We also want to say that we are deeply grateful for your response to our 2025 Family Reserve release. Creating this small annual offering lets us showcase creativity at origin and collaborate with multiple artisans across the country.
